Privacy at ERP Kanyange
ERP Kanyange is the management system of ACK St. James Kanyange Parish. This page explains, in plain words, how it treats information.
Who can use it
Only authorised parish staff and officers can sign in. Members use the member portal, not this system. What each person can open depends on their role, and the database limits which records each role can read.
What it holds
Member details, giving and pledge records, requisitions and payments, ledger entries, bank statement lines, minutes and documents, and the audit log of changes.
What is recorded about use
Changes to financial records are written to an audit log with who made them and when. Sign-in attempts are recorded to protect accounts from guessing. ERP Kanyange does not run advertising or visitor-tracking cookies.
Keeping it safe
Sign-in is protected by a security check and a pause after repeated wrong passwords. Safaricom keys and other secrets are kept in the hosting environment and are never shown on screen.
