Getting started

What ERP Kanyange is, who can use it, and how to find your way around.

What it is

ERP Kanyange is the parish's management system for finance, people and records. It is for authorised parish staff and officers; it is not the church website and it is not the member portal.

Everything you may open is in the sidebar, grouped as Finance, Operations, People, Governance and Insight. What you see depends on your role.

Finding your way

  • Overview shows key figures, the giving trend, the latest audit entries and what is waiting for approval.
  • Press / or Ctrl+K anywhere to search for a module and jump to it.
  • The New button in the header lists quick links to the modules you can use.
  • The bell shows how many approvals are waiting; selecting it opens Approvals.
  • The moon and sun button switches between light and dark. ERP Kanyange remembers your choice on this device.

Figures and dashes

Every figure is read with your own permissions. A dash (—) means your role may not read that information. It is never a zero.

Modules marked Planned are designed but not connected to data yet. They show no figures rather than invented ones.
