Recording gifts, reading the trend, and producing receipts and reports.
What you can do
- See giving by month for the last six months and the breakdown by fund.
- Record a gift received in person and view online M-Pesa gifts as they arrive.
- Produce and print receipts, and generate reports.
- Export the records you are allowed to see.
Good practice
- Record a gift the same day, with the right fund.
- A gift that was entered wrongly is voided with a reason, not deleted, so the history stays complete.
- Pending M-Pesa prompts are not gifts until Safaricom confirms them. See the M-Pesa topic.
